Barbera is a beautiful red wine. It is the third most planted wine in Italy. Fresno's climate mimics the age-old natural environment. Note the deep color, full body, low tannins and high acidity. Search for flavors of blackberry, black cherry, strawberry and raspberry. This particular wine finishes with a caramel flavor. In some ways, Barbera is like pinot noir.
